After some serious oohing and ahhing at the menu (seriously, so much choice), we decided to share a veggie burrito, avocado and roasted tomato flatbread, sweet potato fries and some potato wedges. Yum! We were really impressed with how the food was presented - as you can see from the photos, everything looked really nice and was perfect for those Instagram shots ;) haha! We also enjoyed a non-alcoholic cocktail each which was delicious! If you're ever in Newcastle, it's a must visit place for a spot of lunch or cocktails!
After lunch, we decided to head down the Quayside and shoot some photos of the outfits we wore to lunch. I wore my new favourite coat EVER and I'm really excited to share it with you guys as I've had loads of comments about it over on my Instagram (@kayleighjcouture) and Twitter (@k_leexjx). I'm a big fan of trench coats and always think they look really chic and stylish when I see other girls wearing them but I'd never found the perfect one. This khaki number is the perfect shape, perfect length, perfect fabric, perfect colour - perfect everything really! I've been wearing it virtually every day and am just so so in love with it. Unfortunately I can't seem to find it online but I only bought it a few weeks ago so it's definitely worth checking in store if you like it.
I paired the coat with a skirt and top from In The Style and I think they make such a cute pair. I'm obsessed with anything striped at the moment so I love this little striped crop top - it's ideal for the A/W season because of the long sleeves and looks great worn with high waisted skirts or jeans. I decided to wear it with a little leather skirt and it's honestly the most comfortable leather skirt I've ever worn - it's obviously not real leather but the fabric is so soft. You can get an extra 10% off at In The Style too when you enter KAYLEIGH10 at the checkout.

To finish the look, I wore my Public Desire lace up khaki feels which I'm in love with. They go with so many things in my wardrobe and can be dressed up or down.
