When bomber jackets first became a 'thing' again, I have to say, I hated them. I just didn't see the appeal at all - a big, padded jacket that makes me look twice the size I am, no thanks. It just didn't appeal to me in the slightest. However, it now seems there's no escaping them as they're all over the high street and online stores! With this being said, I thought it was time to embrace the bomber and give one a try.
I decided to get the one I'm wearing in this post from Megan Mckenna's new Miss Pap collection as I love anything Khaki and loved the zip detailing. Plus, it didn't look too padded which is what usually puts me off this style. Much to my surprise, I actually love this jacket! It isn't as padded as other bomber jackets I've seen which makes it's so easy to wear as a casual day to day jacket. It goes with so many things in my wardrobe and I love that it has bright Orange lining on the inside.
I decided to pair the bomber with a fairly basic outfit but sometimes, basic is best. You can't go wrong with a pair of black ripped skinny jeans - they're a staple piece in my wardrobe all year round as they go with so much and can be dressed up or down. I can't even remember where these ones are from as I've had them for so long but I've found some similar ones for you online here if you fancy investing in a pair for yourself (which I'd highly recommend if you don't already own a pair).
I'm also a big fan of basic tops as once again, they can be dressed up or down and are so versatile. I'm wearing this off the shoulder bodysuit from In The Style in these images and I absolutely love it. I'm obsessed with all things neutral at the moment so I love the nude colour and it's so comfortable too. I'd definitely wear this in the evening as well - it would look fab with a little leather skirt.
To finish off the look, I wore my favourite Missguided strappy heels which literally go with everything and I can already tell they're going to be my Summer shoe of choice! White heels and a tan = perfect combo. As always, I also finished the look with my beloved small Givenchy Antigona bag. It's come everywhere with me since I bought it so I'm definitely getting my moneys worth. It's the perfect neutral colours so it goes with pretty much everything and I think it works really well with this outfit. I also really liked how it looked slung over my shoulder with the longer strap!
I hope you guys like this look - let me know what you think in the comments below!

Lovely look, I feel like bomber jackets are nice but I've not yet tried any myself and don't feel like they would look any good on me.
